What an incredible day it was at TechQuest STEM Academy as we celebrated the graduation of the pioneering #Talent4Startups trainees! On the 31st of May, 2024, The atmosphere was electrifying, filled with a palpable sense of excitement and anticipation for the remarkable journey that lies ahead for these trailblazing talents.

Thanks to the visionary partnership with Digital Africa in collaboration with AfriLabs, these aspiring entrepreneurs are now armed with cutting-edge skills and knowledge, poised to propel Africa’s digital entrepreneurship ecosystem to unprecedented heights. Their passion, innovative ideas, and unwavering determination will undoubtedly shape the future of technology on our vibrant continent. We can’t contain our enthusiasm as we eagerly await the amazing startups and groundbreaking solutions these graduates will bring to life, driving technological advancements and creating lasting impacts across various sectors.


The occasion was made even more momentous by the esteemed presence of Engr. Charles Uche Emembolu, the Founder of TechQuest STEM Academy, whose pioneering vision has paved the way for nurturing this outstanding cohort, Itoro Emembolu, Ph.D., the Academy’s Director, whose unwavering guidance and support have been instrumental in the trainees’ transformative journey, Penelope Terranova, Chief Program Officer of Digital Africa, representing the organization that made this life-changing program a reality.


We were also honored by the presence of Dr Odiong Akpan, Board Member, TechQuest STEM Academy and Managing Partner, Ubulu Africa, whose presence exemplified the Academy’s steadfast commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, Jennifer Jonathan, the Project Manager at Innovation Support Network (ISN) Hubs, championing initiatives that propel startup growth, Funmilayo Caulcrick, the Senior Programs Officer at AfriLabs, embodying the collaborative spirit that drives African tech ventures to new frontiers, and of course, Members of the TechQuest Team, whose efforts played a pivotal role in ensuring that we had a memorable event! Their esteemed presence underscored the collaborative efforts required to unlock Africa’s boundless potential through digital entrepreneurship and highlighted the shared vision of empowering our continent’s brightest minds to shape a prosperous future.
