Vodacom Robotics Training

TechQuest STEM Academy in partnership with DynastyCSR delivered a two-day facilitation and training event for Secondary School Scholars in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality and the Internet of Things (IoT).

A total number of 45 Secondary School students participated and they were taught basic engineering that involves the conception, design, manufacture and operation of robots. Similarly, they learned computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional image. In comparison, the internet of computing involved learning devices embedded in everyday objects, enabling them to send and receive data.

After the two-day program, participants’ minds were opened to the future of tech, artificial intelligence and virtual reality. Participants could also create robots using robotics kits made available by TechQuest.
