MTN COVID-19 Virtual Hackathon is a nation-wide hackathon and incubation program to enable the creativity of our young future leaders, and support them to create tech solutions to some of the most pressing challenges posed by the novel coronavirus pandemic.

In partnership with MTN, we are delighted to invite primary and secondary school students to participate in the mPulse hackathon 2020.
We are looking to enable and support pre-teen and teenage innovators to create practical, effective, and high-quality solutions that can have an immediate and lasting impact along the following themes:
- Remote education and continued learning (including homeschooling solutions)
- Community cooperation and mobilization
- Crisis communication
- Data and information management
- Logistics solutions for efficient food, services, and product distribution
“We are at a critical point in the global response to COVID-19 – we need everyone to get involved in this massive effort to keep the world safe.”
Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General
