ACBP Meetup Webinar (COVID 19, Improving Education and Providing Decent Work through EdTech Innovation)

The ACBP virtual meet-up was held to facilitate interactive discussions between health, government and industry stakeholders to explore the role of innovative Educational Technology (EdTech) solutions in providing quality education and decent work for citizens. TechQuest hosted the 1-day webinar and impacted a total of 201 attendees.

The Virtual Meetup is Implemented under the AfriLabs Capacity Building Programme (ACBP). The ACBP is designed to equip technology hubs with the skills needed to improve their ability and capacity to support the growing number of startups and MSMEs in their communities across Africa. The programme is funded by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) through the Digital Africa seed fund.

The webinar also sought to provide a means to improve the digital literacy of citizens to enable them function and compete in a rapidly changing technological age (consistent with SDG 4.4.1 on relevant skills and lifelong learning and SDG 8 on decent work and economic growth)
