Zabib Musa Loro
I am a south Sudanese young woman, an accomplished senior manager activist and a member of the South Sudan Human Rights Defenders Network, the coordinator of the National Security Sector Reform Alliance and the Executive Director of Islamic Development and Relief Agency, Deputy Chairperson for the Network of Aids Service Organizations for South Sudan. A Board member to the Eastern Africa National Networks of Aids Service Organizations. With expertise in building organizations and operational infrastructures in various NGO settings and 10 years of active NGO experience in activism, humanitarian and development organizations including establishing and staffing organizations, managing the development and operating environments, with wide-ranging experience in fragile, post-conflict and resource-poor settings, I provide strategic guidance and oversees project implementation and documentation.
I work mostly with conflict-affected populations, SGBV survivors, prisoners and people living with HIV, widows and orphans in several South Sudan communities. By providing psychosocial support, peace building programs, empowering through small grants, vocational trainings and human rights advocacy among others.
I hold a Master degree in Human Rights and local governance, and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Diploma in business administration, Professional certificates in Project Strategic Planning, Resource Mobilization, Data analysis and collection, Security training, Basic management skills and a certified and qualified HIV & Aids counsellor.
